The Project Manager will coordinate projects across Bare Tree’s licensing and creative departments and act as ambassador and liaison between BTM and brand partners. They will oversee project statuses from pre-to-post-production, communicate (and frequently check-in) with freelancers, clients, and project leads to ensure projects are on track, and be responsible for troubleshooting and getting ahead of production issues in real-time to ensure production remains as smooth and efficient as possible.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute projects, including: working with project lead to define project goals and scope, budgeting and scheduling project, and communicating with internal Bare Tree employees and external clients, partners, and stakeholders during all phases of production.
  • Translate client business goals into realistic production requirements and guide stakeholders through all phases of the project with warmth and intelligence, anticipating their needs and responding accordingly.
  • Manage all phases of the project to ensure the project remains on track, flagging, addressing, and resolving any issues that impede production.
  • Schedule and manage ongoing project meetings and check-ins (via email, calls, or video-chats) as needed, both internally and externally.
  • Assign work to creatives on the day-to-day based on schedule availability and skillset; track current projects, create new ones, and archive old ones.
  • Create new project folders to house all project files through all phases of production, including discovery documents, concept pitches, working files, final deliverables, and demos or promotional images.
  • Provide regular project status updates internally (within workflow tool).

Bare Tree Media seeks a Illustrator with keen eyes and a passion for developing unique digital visual content to join our Design Team.  As a Senior Illustrator, you are vital in supporting the quality of work through collaboration and mentoring team members. You will act as a creative driving force and participate in executing designs from concept to completion.  You will partner with the Art Director and Project Manager to support art direction and produce cohesion in various art styles. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop concepts and implement creative art solutions for digital products such as emojis, wallpapers, icon packs, and messaging stickers. This includes illustrating and layering files for an Illustrator -> After Effects pipeline
  • Create digital packaging and marketing collateral formatted for major social platforms, products, and releases
  • Collaborate with other illustrators and animators to envision and iterate concepts
  • Mentor junior illustrators and interns, providing guidance and feedback as necessary
  • Share artistic expertise and knowledge for the best visual solutions
  •  Document new visual solutions to knowledge-share with colleagues; contribute to the optimization of the workflow pipeline
  • Ensuring that illustrations meet specified color and quality standards
  • Take ownership of projects as the visual lead; effectively communicate with colleagues throughout the development and execution of style
  • Produce artwork that consistently meets pre-defined specs and quality standards in a fast-paced environment (often working on more than one project at once)
  • Remain mindful and up-to-date on digital formatting best practices

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Illustration, Digital Art, Graphic Design, or equivalent experience
  • Comfort illustrating digitally and in vector
  • 5+ years of experience in a design studio setting
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects
  • Flexibility with diverse art styles and subject matters
  • A keen eye for colors, lighting, and perspective
  • Knowledge of processes, project pipeline, and best practices of art production
  • A portfolio demonstrating your skillset
  • US Citizen and eligible to work in the U.S.

Nice to have but not required:

  • Preferably based in Massachusetts or in the East Coast Time zone

At Bare Tree Media, we are building our AR program. Our next step is looking for a JavaScript-savvy AR Developer, interested in coding within and troubleshooting pre-existing AR platforms such as Lens Studio, Spark AR Studio, and Effect Creator.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop user interaction systems for lenses and AR experiences in the following programs: Effect Creator (Tiktok), Lens Studio (Snapchat), and Spark AR Studio(Facebook/Instagram)
  • Collaborate with other AR designers on the team to design per our client’s vision, creating a polished, deliverable AR experience
  • Work within estimated timelines/hours, set internally and by clients, to hit milestone deliverables through out project timelines
  • Use Bare Tree Media’s internal pipeline tools to stay organized: Asana for task management, DropBox for file management, EverHour for time-tracking, Discord for team discussions and messaging

Qualifications:

  • Experience navigating the AR programs / platforms listed above
  • Experience in JavaScript, a must in creating more advanced lenses
  • Familiar with node-based coding and or shader systems
  • Preferable to have game development experience
  • Bonus to have experience with 3D systems
  • A great communicator and ability to work in a small team environment, juggling multiple projects and responsibilities at a time
  • Prior experience in UX Design is a plus

Qualifications:

Project Coordinator

  • Download assets from client asset portals and organize them within company dropbox
  • Communicate with freelancers as needed on creative projects
  • Submit new licensed products for approval via email or respective client portals
  • Assess viability of new partnerships and platforms as needed
